PM: Self-sufficiency key to preventing debts
Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha said the late monarch’s sufficiency economy philosophy is the ultimate solution to debt problems. In his weekly televised public address, the Thai premier said the government is committed to solving the issue of informal debts at which his administration has been successful by allowing the low-income earners access to financial loans with financial institutions and state-run banks.
